I gave up on the EA franchise. NHL 06 was probably the weakest hockey game I have ever played on my computer. Once you learned how to score the scores became ridiculous. Fifa 2005 was ok but the world cup 2006 was awful. The players looked like they were cartoon characters the way their feet moved.

So I moved to Winning Eleven: 9 which is much better than the EA titles. I haven't picked up a hockey game since 2006.

Other games: Company of heroes (one of the best RTS games I have ever played), Oblivion and Total War.

me and my bros play NHL 06 on hard...............in easy games would be zero-to-20-something no prob

we're like into our 7th year or something on one of the dynasties (plus theres two others we play often)

i'm still crossing my fingers until a hockey game allows you to jersey a dude while youre fighting him
