I've been trying to find out if anyone is lobbying to get the poway crags re-open, at least while its not eagle nesting season. if so is there any way i can help, and if not any ideas of how to go about taking a stand for a great little crag. Anyone that is willing to help get poway re-open pm me and well see what we can do. thanks everyone

Lobbying hasnt done much for corte madera which is down for velociraptor nesting (or something like that) from jan-june could really use some more climbing support down here :D! So much of the climbing is on private property or closed access areas that its just a big closure waiting to happen IMO

I would suggest contacting the land owner or manager to verify that a closure really exists.

trust me it exists i've went out there and seen it myself. the trail is closed and overgrown, and if you hike it anyways when you get to the rocks there are signs that say that it is closed.....

Weird. I just called the Cleveland National Forest and they told me that there were no closures for nesting. (I'm assuming this is in reference to the seasonal raptor closure in the guidebook, right?)
