Hi,

I'm new, and some of my friends slackline. I want to buy a slackline, but my problem is: I live in the Netherlands, and most of the slacklinessellers i've seen are in America or Australia. So does anyone know where I could buy them in Europa/Holland?.

Thx.

The mountain equipment slckline designed by heinz zack is available from invia, so you might have a good chance to order it in a shop that is carrying brands from the invia lineup.
Austrian company austrialpin also produces a line, and i have also seen one of czech origin here in germany, but i cant remember wich company.

or just build a set yourself, its not to difficult.

All you need is some webbing and some oval 'biners.
Go to slackline.com to get info on how to set it up. It's pretty simple and cheap. Good luck.

There's a load of guys that live in Eschedene that slackline. They have a website www.slackline.nl - if you speak to slackbird who set up the site, he knows where yo can get several types of webbing in the Nederlands...

Like AREYOUMYDUDE said, all you need is line and biners and you're ready to slack.

Have fun!

I can only speak for my company, but I'm pretty sure all of the manufacturers of slackline gear gladly ship international. While shipping is a bit higher, don't let that limit your choices of gear. Whether you buy one or build one get what fits your needs & budget the best, just plan on a few extra dollars in shipping if buying from a US company.

Thx,

Well, first of all, I couldn't reach Slackbird personally (know him, he's trains me @ climbing ;)), and the other guys neither...

Well, I'll certainly consider buy some stuff in the US, and i'll let it ship overhere.

Thx anyway for responding ;)

Just sent you a private message with a phone number for one of the Escedene guys - I had an email from them yesterday and they have recently rigged a 50m/165' line!

Might also post up on the forums at www.slackline.com, there's a lot of devoted slackers there, including some in Europe.
