I'm going to be in Ogden for the 3 weeks and want to know if there are some nice areas to boulder and maybe top rope if I can find some people already doing it.

I'm a SoCal boy born and raised. Is it too cold over there this time of year to climb?

The good thing about climbing in ogden is that it's hardly ever too cold in the winter to climb. I've had great times climbing when the high for the day was about 25. The key is going when it's sunny. In winter the upper boulder field, school room wall, and 9th streat all face the sun and are perfect for climbing when it's sunny, and the rock won't even be cold. but if it's 40 and cloudy or windy don't bother, it will suck.
