it always seems like a good idea, at the time, to get a huge owl tattooed on your back.
don't get me wrong, i'm a fan of tattoos and have some discreet body art, but as a female a huge ass bird on the back is not going to age well.
to each their own. if you're happy, that's all that counts

Kant, first, know that some of these people are total jackasses. Ignore.
Beyond that I'm bummed that you needed support and didn't get it from some who should have known better. Too bad you looked for it in here, but hey, now you know. I didn't get to see the pic, but I hope you get your excitement back - I'm sure you put thought into it and chose this because it's something you want.
And for the record, if you stay in shape you can flip off those other women who are so sure they'll be saggin and draggin. Be the exception. Here's your incentive to keep climbing :)

fuckin weird!! yesterday morning i was watching this HUGE Grey Owl in my back yard, it was the first time i've seen a 'large' owl out and about in nature
you plan on another session to add on or what?

it was 4 hours...roughly, i have 4-5 more hours (im told) to finish the shading...im not looking forward to the tail feathers or the wing over the ribs....lol
macharry, your right, so long as i like it doesnt really matter...
i guess the funy part is that this girl i work with just went to get one, and no one new what it was by looking at it...and everyone told her it was nice, but really everyone thinkgs it looks like shit.
i guess the nice thing about this place is that nothing is sugar coated...

People are just jealous because they don't have the balls to commit to something like that. I got one a few weeks ago and got some shit about it. You know, I like it a whole hell of a lot, and that is all that is important. F*** the naysayers, do what you like.

I saw the pic I thought it looked pretty cool. The last thing I'd worry about now is where it will be in 40 or 50 years. Nobody'd want to see it then anyways, no matter where it was.
