I think that white and blue go best with red, I'd probably go white or light blue to cut down on overheating. Black looks good to but that's usually more evening wearish. I would avoid green unless you're climbing in the late December time frame.

I never go climbing without consulting wellstyled.com's automated color scheme planner. Sometimes I want to contrast with the rock, other times, I want to blend in, and with the help of wellstyled.com's automated color scheme planner, I never feel like I've made a bad climbing fashion statement. It works for me, it can work for you too: http://wellstyled.com/...cheme2/index-en.html

And in addition to this question, I would like to ask the photographers on this site: What color ROPE do you recommend be used? Do you want one that sticks out, one that complements the climber, or one that blends in so it can't be seen? We've all seen photos where you can't even see the rope and it gives the illusion that there isn't one at all. But I always find that a bit deceptive. Maybe it impresses non-climbers, but when it happens too often, I find it a bit fake. But then again, I don't want it to take away from the focus of the scene. So what do you think from your experiences?

Bright primary colours are the best for red rock that is of course excluding red and yellow. Blue and green are awesome photo aproved colours for talent to wear. Fluoro pink or very bright fire engine red ropes are the go as well. Don't forget to remind the belayer to wear a bright shirt as well.

Green. Definitely green. If you find the right shade of blue that might work too.
