I can't comment on this rope in particular, but I own 3 different Mammut ropes. Hands down love em. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one, and probably will in a year or two.

Well all I can find is on REI.com:

http://www.rei.com/...EI_SSHP_CLIMBING_TOC

But it sounds like a nice rope. It has a dry sheath and core. Should be a good rope.

I've loved my two Mammut Supersafe 10.2's, but reccently got a Metolius Monster 9.8 and was surprised it handles pretty much exactly like the Supersafe, if a bit thinner. They also make a 10.2 I suspect is an equally nice rope.

That's actually an awesome price for a 10.2 mm dry sheath/core rope from an amazing company.

I told.

So i was able to drive up to rocks today with a group of friends and test out the rope. Overall it performed very well. we spent a whole day top roping and leading on it. we didn't take to makny falls on it, although the feew that we did take were fun. for me 10.2 is the perfect diameter for a rope used for lead and TR. Good abrasion resistance yet fairly light weight.. Overall the rope performed well was definitely satisfied with its performance and durability.
