Me and my roommates are heading out to red river this spring break for 7 days of sport. i was wondering if there is any "most do" problems that we need to tackle. We climb up to 11a. Thanks for the input.

I like Fire & Brimstone (10d) and Whip-stocking (11a) at Driveby; To Defy the Laws of Tradition (10a)at Left Flank; the 10s at Bruisebrothers wall in Muir Valley and the 10s at Funk Rock City.

Breakfast burrito is also a classic route (5.10+) if you are Driveby. There are several walls at Muir valley that have a higher concentration of 'moderate' routes although walls like bruise brother tend to get very crowded in my opinion. Roadside crag is also a very popular wall that you might want to check out with many 10's and easier.

Upto 11a sport or trad? Or both? How solid 11a are you? If you're coming from an area that's sand-bagged a bit, you can probably up your climbing grade by a few letter grades at the Red (most routes are rated with pump factor...still hard but just not 'technically' hard).

I love Darwin's Ear (5.10b) at Volunteer Wall(???). It's works well for a warm-up, but don't discount its simplicity; for me it was one of the smoother climbs at the Red.

Thanks for the input. If yopu are solid at 11a have any reach at all then go to Roadside Crag and do Ro Shampo so you can say you climb 5.12. Oh, and Brontosaurus was pretty nice too.
