Every jacket made for climbers should stuff into one of its own pockets and have a sturdy clip-in loop so that you can attach the thing to your harness. Why all jackets don't have this lightweight, functional feature is beyond me.

Why all jackets don't have this lightweight, functional feature is beyond me. That's a good idea I would say. + On the back it should have a big zippered pocket for a camel pack water thingy. I got dehydrated one day in EPC that's why I think it would be a cool thing to have on your jacket or "light jacket.

Majid - Sweet vest. Can I get your mom's phone number? What I was talking about is if you've got a jacket that has a zippered pocket as part of the design, all you have to do is make sure the pocket is big enough for the whole jacket, the zipper is reversible and add a clip in loop. This jacket fits into its own pocket and there's a clip in loop so you don't lose it. A few companies do this with a few of their jackets. Plenty of jackets out there have pockets that are already the right size, they just need use a reversible zipper and add a clip in loop.

My REI jacket folds into a pocket, but lacks a solid loop to clip to it. Another feature I'd like on a jacket (pants too), would be a totally waterproof pocket. Even if you took a dunk, the contents of that pocket would remain dry.

EVRY climbing jacket should also have pockets that are accessible when wearing a harness and a zipper that can be unzipped from the bottom.

and double zippers, with a drawstring so you can unzip from the bottom a bit, and draw it away from your belay device.

Some of Vaude's small climbing packs actually have this same feature.

Make fun of me all you want, I'm a big boy I can take it. Please don't make up things I didn't say and put it in quotes, is that to much for you to understand.
In reply to: If you don't want some one to laugh at it don't say it. This is what happens when you misrepresent what someone says. If you go read my 1st post, I never said that. So thanks for proving my point.

Please modify your post to remove the misquote, or at least reflect clearly that it is not what was originally posted. -F

svinit, You made a mistake, and corrected it. Thanks, I'm over it. Davey, When your attention span is capable of digesting what you read, please feel free to make an assessment and comment then. People learn from their mistakes, take advantage of it. Got a feeling you haven't.

Davey, When your attention span is capable of digesting what you read, please feel free to make an assessment and comment then. People learn from their mistakes, take advantage of it. Got a feeling you haven't. Ok Your were right that’s not what you said. But... svinit made what you said funny. He wasn’t making fun of you. He just made a joke using what you said. Kind of like the joke about my attention span. Does this hurt me? No because I don't want to waste my time letting a little joke anger me. But to each his own. So if that’s what floats your boat then go for it. I guess I should just chill and stop playing with you (and your personnel internal problems. Damn it there I go again ) So there I learned from your mistake and I won’t make the same one again. Disclaimer: When I joke I'm usually being sarcastic, so don’t take me seriously. Some people just think I'm being a jerk. I'm not, so sorry if I come across like that. The above could be summed up with "You were right, I was wrong"

You still don't fathom. The joke doesn't bother me in the least, but your repeated ignorance does. Your still not comprehending what you read. Don't know where you grew up (a lot of assuming there), but you don't quote someone else using your own words. DUH! Now run along and practice your reading comprehension, report back in thirty years when you get it.
