Yeah, I know enough to get excited about the madness, addicted to watching the games, and even enough to have watched a reasonable amount of pre-tourney ball, just don't know enough to keep from losing money in office pools through the years...

It appears the Islanders have opened up a 10-0 lead on Wisconsin. Worried, Sno?

You know what sucked about that? I had to leave for PT when the score was 12-2. Two hours later, knowing nothing, I burst into the office, check the scores, and am so happy to find we're up 14 with 10 seconds to go in the game.

So was I worried? Hell yes. We badgers have a knack for f-ing things up. But I did wear a Wisconsin shirt to PT, so I'd like to think my good vibes saved the day. Wink

Creighton/Vegas was best game of the day so far, IMHO.

Probably, but one can always hope! Hope you are not bitter about me picking IU to go out in the first round...

Did anyone see Xavier/Ohio State?

I thought Xavier was golden. One missed free throw, and one blown call by the refs.

Damn.

yeah. great game except the final score. you think that the buckeyes might take akron community college off the schedule now and replace them with xavier...nah, probably not, tough to get to 30 wins playing tough in-state schools.Pirate

and wes. kentucky can only lose by 4 or my breakfast burrito with bacon and dark roast coffee are on you. rock chalk jayhawk. Tongue

I saw the half time score, and was like WTF, how did a football score get posted? 13-20?

You're probably right that they won't.... I'll admit that OSU played well in OT, but they were handed the game when the ref didn't call that foul by Oden at the end an intentional foul. Of course, had Xavier made both FTs, it would have been a moot point. Reckon that's why you play the game, eh?

So, I got to see the first half of IU/UCLA. And the whole time, I'm shaking my head. Then the TV coverage switches to Mich. State/UNC, and shows the IU score in the ticker up top. With 10 minutes to go, and IU starting to pull closer, we get launched for a MVC. And the whole time, I've got 50% of my mind on the patient, and 50% going "Damnit, what's the score of the game???"

Good tourney so far.... lots of good games. I think UNC is going to take it in the end. Too many strong players.

don't you hate when work gets in the way.Crazy

funny story. back in 02 when i.u. knocked off duke in lexington (to go to the final 4). we got an active alarm a couple minutes after the game at a dorm on campus. there were thousands of kids surrounding the engine jumping on the running boards and all. i got out and was giving high fives when it dawned on me that these kids didn't know i had an axe in my hand and were coming dangerously close to impaling themselves.

And down in flames go the cats, and my bracket!

Ron, next time you eat at RRO, just let Matt know it is on me, and I will pick up the check next time I am in.

Well, my bracket is totally screwed.
Maryland losing 2 games early.
Only 2 of my elite 8 are left, but at least they're my finals picks.
Only 6 of my sweet 16 left.

Downtown Indianapolis, small-mid sized school, gets all the players that Indiana, Purdue, and Notre Dame don't want.

Ever see the movie "Hoosiers"? The final game was played in the old Hinkel Fieldhouse, which used to be Butler's home court.

IIRC, the school has five hot chicks and three ugly ones.

I think it's still their home court. I know they played the game against SIU there this year.

Bull Ship!! They are a Basketball factory that recruits Euro NBA rejects...they have no ethics when it comes to athletics and will enroll anyone....the revered and hollow name of UMD will go down in martyrrdom as the scarificial lamb of a despicable giant that is Butler...
