Okay, since no one else is posting much lately, I hope nobody minds if I put up another photo from Red Rocks. I wish I had gotten the shot before she'd clipped the bolt and think it looks washed out, but aside from that? Any other suggestions are welcome.

i think somehow my reply got erased, hopefully it doesn't end up double posting. thanks for putting the photo out there -- i've been busy as usual. i agree with your two observations, but you can easily boost the saturation of the color with PS. perhaps brighter colored clothing on the subject might have helped. it's good that you have the background in the shot, but i think it might have been more exciting if you had been able to take it from higher up. also, it's unfortunate the climber's face is hiden in shadows, but that is also hard to avoid. thanks again for the submission...

I like the overhang on it, but the angle could have been emphasized a bit more, either shooting up or shooting down on her. Shooting up would bring out the climb, while shooting down would bring out the scenery behind. Of course you have to be wary of the dreaded butt-shot.

I personaly would like to see her looking up in the shoot. Maybe even a bit of fill flash to lessen her shadowy figure?

i would like to see a bit of rotation from the pov of the camera, closer to the rock to get more of the climbers face, as well as bringing the climber out of the middle of the photo
