watch out for climbomatic--they're a bit shady in my opinion. see my thread "Beware beware beware!" for the details.

It's not a scam but I'd almost think the guy is shipping stuff out of his basement after working his fulltime job. I've ordered 3 things from there and all have taken 2-3 weeks to ship, but i've received them. Only reason I don't really care is because the weather sucks but i'd be pissed if it was summer. I would definitely question him about the status to be certain, though. Okay, sorry about the climbomatic insults, I finally got there order, I still think a month and a half is way to long, but did finally get my package, so they are not a scam, just horrible shippers.

Well I don't know if anyone has noticed, but the climbomatic site now states "SHIPS OUT in 48 HOURS/Satisfaction Guaranteed". I just ordered the sleeping bag from there so I guess i'll find out if they'll abide by this.

For New Englanders: This weekend IME in North Conway is selling off this year's rentals for ice, tents, bags, etc. Happy shopping, I'll be wandering through the desert. David

Depends what your looking for, but you can get 20 bucks off a pair of shoes (over $100) at Northernmountainsupply.com http://www.northernmountain.com/...il&utm_campaign= If you are looking for a super killer deal, scour ebay I have bought several nice, barely used, pairs for less than $40, but I just looked at it and didnt' see much.

thats $10 per biner, which isn't even %20 off, Not much of a deal, If you need a crap load of screwgates, which I only need about 5 ussually, you could go to northernmountain.com and get $100 worth and use the $20 off coupon, that way you're getting at least %20 off, which would put 9 biners at $80 and you get to choose what your buying.

Black Diamond Nunyo ski with bindings for $99 (that's 85% off) .. seemed like a pretty sweet deal if you'll take a 191cm ski.
