Wow... I just checked and my post of the same question is here from a year ago... has it been a year already??? I'm anxious to start climbing Tahquitz again. Has anyone been recently? Is there still ice and snow in shady areas? Is the rock too cold for comfort? Thanks, Jason

I plan on checking it out tomorrow. PM me for a recap. Hopefully I'll have good news as opposed to just telling you that we bailed and went to J-tree.

Hey Jason and anyone else interested, Just did Fingergrip at Tahquitz on Tuesday and it was perfect out. Almost too warm if anything. There's still some snow in small patches near the base and by trees, but nothing to worry over. I'm anxious to get back for some more! Jeremy

The ice-sheet hasn't yet retreated from climbs to the left of Dave's Deviation. Anything right of that should be OK.
