Folks, Going to attempt some Yos wall soon. Reading about keyhole hangers in the bw beta book and wanting to make my own out of a normal hanger. Any suggestions on how? I was thinking cutting a slot from the biner hole to the bolt hole with an angle grinder, but I don't know what width of slot to use. Of course I'd watch for burrs etc. Also considering just using some homemade swaged cable. Yikes. Grover

Dude, a normal hanger should rest nicely on a rivet if you cut it like the top left illustration. I've only ever used nuts and swaged cables but I like the idea of the rivet hanger. Also the FISH doubloon looks like it would be useful for shitty old rivets.

Hey G, Keyhole hangers are ok, but I don't use them much. Personaly I prefer short cinching rivet hangers. Best place to get them is ussually in the Yos mountain shop if they have them. I like using the thicker gauge cable when I can, but it's nice to have some skinny gauge for when the rivets suck. Lets do a wall! Matt
