Hello, I have been climbing indoors and want to make the move to outdoors. I have some good deals that will last a week so I want to stock up.
Right now I have a harness, chalk bag, ATC, locking biner, and shoes. What I want to get right now is metolius #1-#4 Ultralight TCU cam set, #5-#8 Ultralight Power Cam, 6 5" quickdraws, and 6 7" quickdraws. Is this a good setup, and what else would u recommend?

More important than any of those cams, I would suggest getting a rope. The fancy cams won't do anything on their own. In a similar fashion, I would recommend a set of nuts because they are a lot less complicated than the cams.
Have you ever lead before (even in a gym)?
Have you ever climbed outside before?
From the sound of your post, you are jumping in too fast and need to get a little more experience before you start doing this.

Rope, slings, set of nuts, tricams (maybe), micro nuts, cordette. and most importantly read a few good books (freedom of the hills, Anchors John Long) and try to enlist a mentor and not get killed.

Yeah, i'll second that. it looks like you have a deal on metolius gear, maybe pick up one of their ropes, and the draws, then find a partner and a good book to figure out what youre doing. I wouldn't jump from the climbing gym to placing cams either on lead or for a top rope anchor. regardless of the deal youre getting, cams are expensive if you find out you dont like trad climbing.

ya, pretty much I wanted to go with the cams for a later date since I can get a great deal on them right now. (below wholesale) But I think I am going to just get 12 draws. 12 will be enough for a basic 1 pitch climb, correct?

yeah, ignore richard.
With 12 draws you'd definitely be set for climbs around here. like others were saying, some different lengths are handy to have.

I'll second that. Its better to have a helmet and never go to places where you really need it, than to not have it at all.
My helmet's the first piece of climbing gear that my parents ever bought for me. (like 8 years ago)

Same.
Get a rope and learn how to lead in the gym first, a controlled environment. Gear won't help unless you know how to use it properly.
