Sorry - you missed out. Now they dont even let you backorder them. I got the last 4 that were in stock, and I got to backorder some of the biners (they had just the red biners for the same discount) but now they are all gone. I think they just decided to not carry them anymore so they liquidated their stock. If your local stores carry them you might get lucky, but I dont think most stores stock them.

It said backordered on the page w/ the biners, and also double checked w/ me when I checked out to make sure I was cool w/ a backorder.

REI's big sale isn't spectacular, but they do have 20% off all BD 'biners and draws. I picked up a couple of positron screwgates for 8 bucks each at the store this morning- not bad IMHO. The selection of climbing gear in my local stores royally sucks, though - they had a total of two or three varieties of draws. They also have 20% off books from a couple of publishers, including Falcon, which is the company that publishes John Long's Climbing Anchors.
