Monastery Clean Up Day
June 9th 9:00 AM

The other day, a group of us went climbing at the Monastery. If you haven't been there for a while the parking/camping area is in pretty sad shape. We decided to do something and are sponsoring a clean up day. Hopefully you can make it, and if we get done eary everyone can get some afternoon climbing in. New Belgium Brewing is sending some beer for post clean up relaxation.
Questions? Drop us a line.

Lots of random rockfall in Boulder Canyon lately. No doubt you've seen the evidence along the roadside. The Bowling Alley was where some big rocks nearly smashed us. My pack took the hit. It punched a hole through the pack and both sides of a water bottle. So be careful out there and alert. It just rained quite a bit today, so more rocks will be teetering and ready to fall.

To nthusiastj, micahisaac, cindylou, wanderinfree, other-folks-I-don't-remember-names-of;
It was nice running into you folks last Friday at the Gunks during various points along during the day.
I hope you all had a spectacular time. And lemme know when you are in the area and looking for someone to sling you a belay.
nthusiastj and wanderinfree: Casey thanks you again, and since Shockley's, she's only wanted to hit routes with roofsTongue

No problem. I'll have those pics to you pretty soon. Hopefully they turn out good.
Nice running into you too.

Hi front rangers....
I'm coming to Boulder for a bit more than a week starting the 17th of June, on my way through on a roadtrip. I'm looking for beta and partners for eldo and the flatirons, as well as a decent(preferably free) camping area. Feel free to call me at 860-866-8197 or drop a PM if you have any information or feel like partnering with me. I lead up to .9s sport, .7s trad, and can follow some .10s... I also know how to jug if the going gets tough.
Thanks a lot.
Jeff

I'm heading to Denver/Boulder area from 6/17-22 for family stuff. Of course, I have to escape the nephews to squeeze in some climbing. Looking for anyone willing to play hookey, climb between 10am-4pm; sport, trad, TR...whatever. My range is .8-10, but will be more than happy to run laps on easy rock. Send an email if it works with your sched.

FYI, drfeelgood slipped on ice doing Long's Peak and busted his leg, so his roadtrip has been cut short. Heal up soon, dude.

I live in Denver, looking for some new climber partners; my current partner is moving to California and I definitely need to fill the habit. I'm 26, just finished 2 years in the AmeriCorps NCCC program, mostly sport climb in the 5.9 to 5.10+ range. Spend most of my time in Clear Creek but enjoy climbing just about anywhere. Thanks in advance

Adam

Hey, I'm looking for partners too - my small network of climber friends all have busy lives thus it's sometimes hard to line up schedules and free time. I'm good after work (work in Boulder) and on most weekends usually at least one day (Sat or Sun), sometimes both!

I don't lead (yet) but climb around 5.7 to 5.9 pretty comfortable.

Email or pm me.
