To all,

Matt and I had a great time in Yosemite this week, ticking off the North American Wall at the blistering rate of 7 daysUnsure. His patience with my slow climbing, slow descent and weak leads seemed endless. Thanks for everything Matt! Highly suggest lambone as a wall partner to anybody. Safe and fun.

My legs are fuc%ing killing me today!

Grover

aw shucks...thanks G!

you got what it takes bro, I've never climbed with a more confidant and psyched EC first timer!

slow ascents are stylin in their own right. I'd rather spend two extra nights chillin on the wall then slummin in Camp 4 or hiding from the tool....or worse yet, driving home!

cheers

I always knew there was a heart behind that facade. Tongue

Nice job, guys. Boney -- it's been a couple of years since you went up the big stone, hasn't it? Nice job for skillz retention between visits -- though I'll bet you've been aiding somewhere in the meantime. I'd love to see a trip report if you guys want to throw one together.

Congrats, guys.

Ed

Yer doin' better than I am! I need to pick your brain for legit tips on how to keep the climbing going while keeping the wife and family happy. I have yet to find a good balance.

What's that, you say? Ditch the wife? Hmmmm....

ha, yeah that's the crux of any big wall when you're married!

First off, you have to let her know straight up that in the Spring and Fall El Cap comes first, she comes second.

Then to make her happy you need to plan a seperate "wife trip" soon before or after you send the Captain. And try not to spend your whole trip with her talking about how cool/hard/scary El Cap was...
