I'm debating to bring a keg just for that reason. Are we able to bring our own kegs?

You already ruined it. Don't ask permission. Do it and then ask forgiveness.

Well, they said no glass bottles. So, according to that rule, I'm good. I'd rather not make anyone mad. I'd like to return for #6.

I'm bringing a bottle of red wine for myself. Maybe I'll pour it into a nalgene (hmmm... a sharp berry start, with a smooth plasticy finish. How lovely!) but whatever. What I want to know is, "Where is the single malt scotch?" I'm such a lightweight... I'll probably be the guy in a flamboyant, mismatched hat/shirt combo, no pants, dancing a jig by 10 o'clock, with regular showings each hour after that until they haul me away.

well, I'm not saying I can buy a whole keg or anything (I'm a cheap drunk). Not picky on the beer type if it's a keg. Alright, this is my last post before I see you all there. Do what you feel and keep both feet on teh wheel!

Hi! If you're still reading and not driving... IT. HAS. BEGUN. I estimate we had over 100 people camped at Burnwood Thursday night. The bloody thing hadn't even started yet! If you still have questions, just come on over and ask in person. We'll do our level best to fix you up! Ask for me personally at the NRAC tent and I'll see what I can do!

I'm still recovering...and I didn't drink a single drop of alcohol (unless Katie Sharp put something in my drink at the no-booze bar)

All I know, is that 7am came mighty early today. I did not want to come into work. I was down at fern buttress yesterday. I saw you and I think granite girl. The parking lot was full, but I only saw one other couple out climbing.

Did anyone happen to see one of those Mad Rock "welcome mats" that attach to the Mad Rock crash pad? You know, the thing you wipe your feet on, and that attaches to the pad with velcro? I gave my crash pad to my friend, who used it for the sumo match Saturday night at the Rendezvous. She put it down in one place, but when she went back, it was gone. Did anyone pick it up or something like that? I know this is a long shot, but if you have the welcome mat, please let me know and we'll work out how to get it back to me. Thanks. -Andrew

Do you think it would be a cool idea to have someplace where everyone from the event could go and post pics so it could be one giant album?

j_ung wrote: Hey, here's something of interest. The guys at Yourclimbing.com have really come through with the grassroots NRR promo. Two things: 1. Grassroots reporters. The site is looking for five people to cover the Rendezvous for it's NRR Grassroots Channel, here. All five people chosen get a free pair of Chacos for their work. They're not looking for professional writers and photogs, FYI, just folks with enthusiasm and, hopefully, digital cameras. 2. They've announced contests for best stories, photos and videos from the 'Vous. The prizes are pretty sweet; from Sportiva gift certificates and pro deals to a MH sleeping bag for best story. Thanks Yourclimbing.com! (bold is my own) Not only will all the pictures, stories, and video from the NRR be in one place, but you can win swag.

You know, I was just lamenting that I didn't meet anyone from RC.com...apparently I did! Thanks for your help. The event was awesome. I would like to volunteer next year.

I think I found your nano (black leather case with what looked like 2 metallic droplets on the bottom corner) and turned it into the hospitality tent. Maybe dbrayack can turn something up from there!
