YOUR TOOTHBRUSH for scrubbing holds. And if you're cool you should have drilled a bunch of holes in it. Every ounce counts!

A rope, a partner and some 7mil cord,

and only a rope.

Tie in with a bowline, old school style. Have your partner use a hip belay. Going barefoot gives you a feel for the rock.

Then tie loops with the cord around features. Or go East German style and hammer knots into cracks as pro. If it's warm you wouldn't even need cloths. However rappingn with a dulfersitz would not be pretty. (Although some might enjoy it)

A headlight and a knife.

The headlight to get you back to the trailhead after your buddy gets you off-route and lost, and a knife to slit his throat once he's helped carry all the gear back to the car.....

....or it could help you see better and be prepared.

Another important thing I carry is enough webbing/cord to tie off an anchor and escape a belay. First Aid kits aren't too bad either (had to say it; no one else has).

Alright Djnibs, you win bro. My Snorkel bows to your Teddybear Chalk Bag. (The best thing to hit climbing this century!) Honestly dude, serious props. I might actually have to bite that idea. Well done!

Searing emotional pain.
I've climbed the best after breakups and funerals.

...the bare minimum? Shoes. But I find that a good pair of comfy shorts keep me from getting sunburned in embarrassing places.

I didn't read all 4 pages. Did someone mention that all you need is a rock and nothing else. Everything else just makes it easier.

so, kindredlion, are you trying to say that you don't like dogs.

The cool part is when they start yelping @ about 30M. Then they start squirming a little higher....BUT try to get them to rappel....you have to either push them off or throw a stick.
