Dogs have become such a problem at the privately owned Muir Valley area in Red River Gorge that the owner has announced a forthcoming dog ban starting in 2008: http://www.redriverclimbing.com/viewtopic.php?t=8480. Defiance of a dog ban at Torrent Falls is one of the problems that led to it's closure. Climbing on private land is a valuable resource in the Red River Gorge area. Please know and follow all rules whether climbing on public or private land. If you don't you jeopardize access for everyone.
