I hate to tell you, but the Forest Service has closed the entire Angeles National Forest (including Williamson) for the remainder of the fire season, which basically means until winter. Highway 2 is open for thru traffic only. No parking is allowed anywhere in the National Forest, which is how they are enforcing the closure.
