Yep, this is the ultimate road trip vehicle. Presenting the MaxiMOG. Accessories include an UAV (unmanned air vehicle) - I shit you not - that has a range of 10 miles to send back real-time video and GPS to scout ahead for the crag; a motorbike to run down to the local pizza shop while camping; a jet boat that will go from 0 to 60 in four seconds; and a trailer with all the modern conveniences including satellite up-link, kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping quarters. Here's the dashboard: The trailer: This puppy will wade through five (Edit: correction, 6')feet of water and has a sump pump if water enters the crew compartment. It is designed to operate between -70F to 130F. And it has a range of 1000 miles at 9-1/5 miles per gallon. It will only cost you $437 to fill the gas tank (at $3.50/gallon). LOL. Best, Kim

Ya that's awesome but you have to be filthy rich just to drive that thing. Gas is so expensive.

What is the sticker price with trailer? I think it gets better mileage than my jeep...

Check out this for a roadtrip vehicle. This is an EX troop carrier. Now owned by a climber and used for climbing!

mogs rock. but how much does this thing cost? apart from other conveniences, you can probably just drive to most of the crags. and i dont mean to the parking lot, i mean to the foot of the crag.

Fock! That's a traveling house, not a roadtrip vehicle. It wins! But I'd still rather have a sprinter 4x4 sportsmobile conversion than a silly MOG. 20 mpg is nice.

Personally, I'll go with one of these: http://www.sportsmobile.com/3_bikes.html The company makes Dodge Sprinters into sweet camper vans. A bit pricey, but you can finance it like a house. I'll take it over my Subaru and a house. Wonder how year around living in it would be?

nice. I think it would be cooler to get one of those old charter buses on ebay for $1500, have a party and take out all the seats, then put in an old couch, bed, and a water tank and heater to get a small kitchen. Put in a generator in the cargo area undermeath to get electricity for fridge and other things. theres already a bathroom in the back of most of them. plus lots of buses are diesel so you could convert it so it uses grease or watever from restaraunts, so you've got free gas. Voila!
