hola, i'm looking to start climbing. i work in Melville and considering Island Rock in Plainview but need a partner. open to anyone that wants to help newbie get started. available weekday afternoons (12-3ish) since i work nearby. thx in advance.

I work in Melville too, and have climbed at Island Rock quite a bit. I mostly climb outdoors now and head up to the gunks almost every other weekend. I am free on wednesdays and saturdays. I also work 2:30 to 11:00, and island rock opens at 12, so I don't have much time during my regular work days.
PM me back, I would like to get together a climbing crew, but our group is very small right now.

Hello there... I currently live in western mass in Pittsfield, but I'm from Long Island (Lynbrook, to be exact) and I go back every now and then. I started climbing in Boston so I don't know any climbers back home on the island. Perhaps next time I'm down there I'll send you a message. Maybe this will make me come home more often to see the folks!
