Okay, then why do you never hear about rich 70 year old females with 'trophy husbands?' I am sure that statistically there are WAY fewer.

Sure. That's true. You're missing the original point, though, my friend. Steve

no no no! My original question (forgive me if I did not woord it properly), was not on actual, physical unions, but on perceptions of attractivity. Basically, I know of TONS more females that are attracted to old men (nearly any female will tell you that Sean Connery is hot) than males that are attracted to older women! Basically, my question is this: Who is the female equivalant of Sean Connery, i.e. a 70yr old female that guys by and large consider attractive??? I believe that there is NOT an equivalent. Why? make sense?

I understood you, good buddy, but I was just saying the whole point of this thread. You have yourself a good question there. Yes, Sean Connery is a handsome man for sure. I can only hope to be like that when I hit that age (NOT!). Also, that accent is probably the kicker. He had a cool accent. He may be handsome, but if women really knew what he was like, they wouldn't. They'd still find him handsome, but they wouldn't be attracted to him anymore. Frankly, and he said it himself in an interview that I watched, he is a sexist pig. He said that he believes that women should spend their time in the kitchen and making babies. He's old fashioned and believes that women aren't equal. Not just saying that. He said it. Also, in my opinion, by and large, more women are attractive in their older ages than men by far. There are so many very attractive women out there that are in their 40's and 50's. The "Hot Mom" syndrome, in other words, to put a bad term in play for explicit definition. Anyway, 40's and 50's isn't that old. However, I would feel comfortable saying that women of these ages are more commonly attractive then the men of their ages. I'm confident in my sexuality to be able to determine another man handsome, and I see more attractive 50 year old women, than I do 50 year old men. In lieu of Mr. Connery, you're right. I can't think of any 70 year old women that have a "following". However, that is just one example and I still hold to my belief that there are more attractive women of age, than men. Good question, man! Steve

Sean Connery is a really skewed example, I must say. Not only is he an actor rather than someone known personally. He's a actor who made his name at a young age as a hottie playing James Bond. But if you want to compare actor for actress how about Catherine Deneuve? And older women tend not to have younger "trophy" husbands because of economics. Statistically speaking, women still don't make nearly as much as men. And not only that but societally, men are more likely to be encouraged to make their own way and take care of themselves, while women are still fed that old dream of a man taking care of them. On the flip side, men are taught societially that money is power and money is sexy. I'm not saying it's all economic or it's all societal. I'm saying it doesn't happen in a vacuum.

True, but how about this. * My wife is older. * She wasn't fed that stuff. Thankfully. I like independant women. * She makes more. As a matter of fact, I currently make nothing. Steve
