Who climbs at Peter's Kill?? I've toproped there and find it a very enjoyable, much more low-key place than the trapps.
I like to toprope routes during the day, and switch to some bouldering in the late afternoon/evening.
It always seems like a fairly quiet place that your lucky to run into 10 people a day.
So let's identify ourselves!

Yeah, man. I agree, I like to toprope there and enjoy the relaxing non-crowded atmosphere as well.

Great to hear, I'm pushing my limits on 5.7 as well, last one I did there was Cuba Libre. I also just missed completed the two climbs on the bunk bed wall. I am dying to try slot machine, but I hear its a little sandbagged.
Whats some climbs that some of you consider must dos??
Any anchor beta would seriously help as well since the overpriced guidebook fails to include it.

Local rules state that if you switch from TRing to bouldering you must make a trip to the waterfalls first. It will be worth your while.
As far as route beta and anchoring specifics(bolts), the site you should use is mountainproject.com. Just follow the links to Peterskill.(NY>The Gunks>Peterskill) A local guide by the name of Taino scripted lots of the routes, including bolt placements. I could spell them out for you, but then you would miss the fun of poring over all that route info.
Okay, I'll tell you one placement. Golden Dreams(5.9) is an excellent finger crack/corner climb you should take a pull on. Don't let the rating put you off, I know a 9 year old girl who did it.
I'll be there tomorrow with my teenage daughter, if you want to discuss other routes. Probably starting out on the Enterprise Wall. See you there.

I taking a bunch of gymbies for their first ride at island rock in long island tomorrow, I will be out either wednesday or next saturday though.
I actually know tai, great guy.
My friends did go to the falls and had a great time, I do plan on doing that myself.

There's another thread somewhere on this site where someone listed all the routes that had bolted anchors.
I'm in peterskill climbing 5.7-5.8ish whenever I can find someone to climb with. Maybe see you around at some point.

I have been there twice. I liked the climbing but I didn't like the fact I had to pay more money on top of my Mohonk Membership.
On a busy day they also limit the number of climbers - so if you can get in it will never be as crowded as the uberfall.

Minnewaska is a stae park. Mohonk Preserve is a private non-profit organization. They are not related entities. The user fee is not "on top of" what one pays for the MP.
Also, I heard that Minnewaska instituted a seasonal pass this year, so that should cut the cost down for people who go there more than a few times a season.

Mountain Project has great beta for Peterskill, including some anchor info. I was instructed to get a "metric assload" of static line to be able to anchor to things other than the protected Dwarf Ridgeline Pitch Pines, which naturally grow in the perfect location to anchor to, but are off-limits. 
Next time I'm there, I would like to try First Day, Jam On! or Crack of Resplendent Delights.
There are a couple of good 5.7 TR's at the Trapps that I know of, as well.
Are you climbing July 4th? I'm looking for a partner, since my regular partner is away on vacation.
