You can trad lead zig zag wanderer, the beginner crack between it and titanium digit, the arch, and a few other lines scattered in other areas. Well at least they can be led.

Poor Mike, he starts a thread about trad @ Coopers and it turns into a arguement about who smokes more pot boulders/traddies? Hey....here is a good idea...someone should publish a Coopers Rock climbing guide so we would have answers to questions like these....I searched Photobucket for pics of stoned boulderers and all I got was the munchies...Crazy

Hey man...I know you are feelin poopy but if you are up for it maybe wednesday(4th of july) we could go up to coopers and just hike around and identify climbs that are trad/worthy of climbing? I have been meaning to do this for a while now but have yet to have the motivation. I can bring a camera and we can take pics to associate with existing guides and maybe draw up some maps of area's not on maps....just an idea...let me know if you are down for it. Later dude!

I live in Motown and know a few lines a Coopers that take good gear. I honestly donn't know the names of the routes, but would be happy to go out and climb or at least take you on a walkabout. I will be out there this weekend. Shoot me a pm if your interested.

Ben

p.s. As for a guidebook, it's coming soon. Order yours today. http://www.brayackmedia.com/orderguide.html

The guidebook is only a bouldering guide...climbing guide will probably never come out...Mike and I did Mr. Clean and the unnamed 5.8 in the same neighborhood yesterday. Gonna try some stuff on big blocks next time. Have you ever been up to any of the area's near Dunbar, PA? If so, is it worth making a trip up there and would you wanna tag along?

I haven't made it to Dunbar yet. I do most of my climbing at Seneca and the New, but would be interested in checking it out.
There are a couple of nice, albiet short Trad Routes on big block. The 5.easy not sure of the actual grade on the end is nice, but the gear is a little fidgety, the straight up crack and the roof(5.8) are nice routes and take solid gear.
I know that the guide is a bouldering guide, but my understanding from talking with Dan (dbrayack)was that it will also list some of roped climbs, although I may be wrong.

Shoot me a pm if you want to get out sometime i would be glad to tag along.

Ben
