I am traveling to Winter Park in a few weeks, and I was wondering if there was any sport climbs there? Or should I need to go someplace else? If so where would be a good place?

Ask the locals about "Hurd Creek" there is a guide book to the place by one "Jim Shaw" it's the closest crag on the west side of Berthoud pass...the turnoff is right before tabernash on route 40...if i told you more i'd have to kill you...but seriously, stop in the town gear/bike shop and ask for directions...you can also pick up the guide book there..around 30 climbs on granite up to 5.12 the climb "bird's nest" is one of the best 5.10's i've ever been on
hope this helps!

Just spoke with the nice folks over at Ice Box Mountain Sports in Fraser. They can point you in the right direction

505 Zerex St
Fraser, CO 80442
970 722 7780

I will let you know what the "scene" is like - or hopefully lack thereof after the excursion.
