Your favorite giant holds

After reading a discussion over at routesetter.com, I thought it'd be cool to ask a similar question here where there's more traffic.

The original question was "what's your favorite inexpensive big hold for mantling?"

I'd like to hear answers to that one, but expand it too - what are your favorite giant holds in general? I'm personally a fan of font-style big brain slopers, just because they are so different from most of the climbing I've done around here.

Please include links, preferably to places that accept credit cards *grin*

I have no idea who made these holds or what their real names are, but I have two favorites.

One is what I call the Wedgewood hold. It's a smooth surfaced disc with one edge about 9 inches to a foot long that's really good to hang onto. It reminds me of what it would be like if someone stuck a dinner platter on a route.

The second one I've only seen used at Pacific Edge in Santa Cruz. They were kind of like bolt on dikes. They actually had two like this, one was about 3 feet long and the other was about 4 feet long. It was great when they had them installed one about the other and one could layback off the holds. Of course they're only useful on flat wall sections.

I really love the alien font and mini rex but any of the monsters by etch allow for a lot of divesity and fun.

This thread has really whet my appetite for another big-ass hold. I'm thinking I might end up going with something from Stone Age - these guys have a ridiculous selection of monster holds.

Morganic Climbing Holds have some good big stuff too that I have been eyeing. Haven't taken the plunge yet through.

I have used the T-rex from Etch as a manteling hold on vertical terrain, it was a tight squeeze, but it got the job done.

I like a few of the stone age holds, we have a bunch of the 3xl's, and 1 or 2 of the 5 xls, as well as some 2xls.

The atlas is by far my favorite hold, it works well with some the the angles in our gym.

There is another company we have a couple of features from, I wish I could remember the name...

about 3' by 2'. Mounts on one bolt hole, and one slot that will line up with a second t-nut. It's black and yellow, has a few crimps on it, a couple of slopers, and about 8 t-nuts in it for your own holds...I'll post back if the name comes to me.

My favorite big holds are:
teknik handholds nkr1
teknik handholds dark crystal
original pushers huge font (the boss)

I love setting with huge holds for bouldering and comps so its hard to pick just one.
