I love how they have him going through the crux and pointing that it's runout, but they don't actually show him taking a bad whipper onto the alien. I will agree, Aliens would make great cams if you just never had to load them...then again, so would just about anything that would fit in the crack.
the real question is...does anyone actually believe that 1) Trotter was plugging new cams? or 2) if he was, by some chance, stupid enough to actually do so, does anyone think that Dave would let those particular aliens leave the shop without really being tested?

if you click on his webpage and read about the send, he offers some interesting thoughts on that black alien as well as a few other microcams.
Didnt anybody teach that boy to always sling his cams? Poor form indeed.
He was too busy chalking and BLOWING.
Yeah, I noticed that. Doesnt he know that takes more time than just brushing it off of the lining of you bag. Its all about economy of motion. Somebody realy should teach that kid a thing or two about rock climbing, he could be good if he would just learn a little technique.
I did notice the "Mirco Cam" spelling, and couldn't help thinking that even though a typo really has no bearing on the quality of their product, it is just ridiculous how pathetically unprofessional CCH comes off at all times.
I thought it showed him asking to take in the middle of the video.
If you read his blog, the vid is from when he was working the line a few days prior to the actual send. There are some still shots of the send on there. it sounds like they got video too, so maybe that will show up one of these days.
I have to say, I really enjoyed reading Sonnie's blog. It's very down to earth and full of fun and the psyche that make climbing so rewarding. I don't get that from a lot of climbing writing.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I know it said he has sent it, I just figured the video wasn't of the send.
