Sorry, this topic isn't exciting enough to have capitalization and 4 exclamation points in the subject title.

Whats wrong with the leather bota bag. If you want to get all liquored up and then huck yourself into a tree at 40 mph it's not like they frisk you at the chairlift.

Woo Hooo!!!!! Fireball in the left and Scotch in the right! Skiing and hiking just got SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better. This also solves the Victory Drink delema when long aproaches and decants are concerned.

Yeah, I'm thinking that we need to make an ice axe that also doubles as a "water pipe". Drop some snow in the spike end, pack your "tobacco" into the adze... it could work, and I know the best time for some fine "tobacco" is when death is on the line... I can see it now... Your rope mate goes sliding down a steep slope... "Arrest! Arrest!" "Dude, I can't...I'll spill the bowl..."

lawsuit? Hell, you don't need one of those for getting sloshed on the slope. Fuck, I've been carrying a flask full of Scotch or Fireball and athermous full of Bailey's and coffee on the slopes for years! lawsuit... maybe stateside when some idiot dies whilt wiping out and drinking out of the pole at the same time, and their family cries "but there wasn't a "warning label" saying drinking out of a pole and sking could be dangerous".... Good thing I live in Canada! That shite doesn't happen here... we just know that there are certain increases in risk of injury while drinking and sking at the same time.

My brother had a pair of these 20 years ago. Blackberry brandy and peppermint schnapps(sp) were our favorites. We both had season passes for Terry every year and used them for years. Believe me, everyone knows whats going on when you hold an upside down ski pole to your lips. Now, if someone would make a waterproof pocket in your swimming trunks, let me know.

Slopjop: Interestingly the authors of the original (and only legitimate one I've seen) study linking aluminium to alzheimers later came out and acknowledged that the aluminium they found in the legions was indeed accidentally introduced due to flaws in their method. It is however now so ingrained into modern culture that we'll be hearing about it until the end of time (think microfractures...).

Ok, first off...I'm going to start with one Angry thread into another... That's Fucking Truck. Second...screw twisty tops. Put a high quality bite valve on the thing and you don't even have to un-screw the cap. It will slow you down less on those early morning slogs when you really NEED the extra warmth... --Andy P
