Over the years I have been trying to figure out what piece of gear needs to be improved or invented for climbing - any ideas out there? Perhaps another clothing company JK The Bruce

Placed it in 6.1 seconds, one handed. Basically it's a claw that grips the head of a BD screw (probably would work with Omegas too) and has a spindle that fits the chuck of a cordless drill/driver. Pull it from the holster, press it against the ice and pull the trigger. Does a nice job of destroying the teeth when the ice isn't think enough though.

Durable approach shoes that offer good support, have sticky rubber, edge well, slip on and off like a slipper, and don't get rank if you wear them without socks.

I second that Third. I'd love an incredibly compact and light approach shoe that was still really supportive. I don't care how they fasten or if they stink to high heaven. (I also don't mind wearing socks with them.) I hate deciding between doing some part of the descent in climbing shoes or lugging up my standard trail shoes. I have to say that if someone really has a brilliant business suggestion, she's probably smart enough not to share it on the internet. Anything you get here is probably a familiar gripe or for a laugh.

No I was serious about the bolt gun. I could use it bolt routes, and then also shoot the annoying people who throw shit from the top of the crag. Imagine it, some kid throws a rock from the top, rather than yelling at him, you just take aim with your bolt gun.

I'm personally pulling for the worm holes. Not only can you forget about the long approaches, but you could skip the drive to the crag entirely.
