much like a 20-foot-long cheater stick or a helicopter rescue, it's great to have when you need it, but it does cut down on the amount of lead climbing you get to do (if you're not the ropegun... and I'm not the ropegun).

I would suggest that you rap the east ledges, not the route itself. It'll be faster and easier, especially if there are parties still climbing up.
