Without a doubt I am not a trad dad, wtf does that mean, and I know that Urban Climber sucks. Not just a little bit either. Actually, it is probably the perfect mag for you 'obe.'

Ok, not to be a prick, but: given that I'm in law school - check.
Sorry about the typo earlier, but I also don't have a staff of editors who are supposed to take care of that for me.

UC is definitely a good magazine. Its focused more on the younger crew and bouldering. Great shots, cool/fun articles....Totally worth the subscription.

Ucmag is probably the best bouldering magazine out right now. There is alittle to much attention to fashion and other metrosexual shite. Last issue had way to much Ivan (king of the metrosexual climbers). And the series that joe kinder writes is absolutely retarded. The fact that they pay an illiterate to do a write up in each article is beyond me. But overall it is the best bouldering mag. And I' ve always had good service with subscritions and such. And you always get some kinda free gift with a subscrition. NO SIR YOU CANNOT BEAT UCMAG!!!

Yah right....climbing photography doesn't pay anyone's bills.

Its a shame when people cannot see inginuity and novel ideas. R&I and the Alpinist are truly good magazines, but where does Urban Climber compare? It doesn't try to, it does it own thing and it does it quite well.

All the kids I climb with, all they talk about is Urban Climber. I'm not sure if any of them have ever heard of Alpinist, which arguable is the Mercedes of climbing publications. (But how much are they? Like 10 bucks??)

You guys just aren't hip enough Sly
