Last weekend i noticed the notorious loose block on "stack 'em three deep" was missing when i reached for it... i have to admit, the climb is kind of better without the worry that i'm going to kill my belayer. not only is the loose block gone, but the rock around it is missing, too, probably about the volume of two desktop computers. i wouldn't have wanted to be under that thing and not paying attention.
does anyone know the story? was it an intentional trundle, a blow off during a climb, or natural?
