does anyone own a pair of mammut goblins? i have an old pair of five-ten slip-ons but i want to try out these velcro shoes. there are few very uninformative reviews, and i would like to hear what anyone would have to say about them.

I have nothing against Mammut, but they're not really know for making shoes. They make great gear otherwise so there is no reason to suspect that their shoes would be any different, but it takes time to get the art down right.

Here in Europe Mammut shoes are much more comon. I had a pair a few years back and they were vry nice. As fot the Goblins, i wanted to buy them myself, but the heel didnt fit me properly. They are a nice shoe but just dont match my feet. I knnow a guy who swears buy them for bouldering. Check out the new Samurai laceup....

I bought a pair of these last fall and LOVE them for cave climbing and bouldering. I owned a pair of 5.10 anasazi velcos for years and will never go back to them. The Goblins are very solid shoes. Mammut gear is just as good as any other top name brand out there, you just have to see if this model fits your feet right. If so, you will love them!
