Hey, im comming from Connecticut to Santa Monica for a little over a week and am looking for anyone to show me around the climbing out there! My name is matt, im 21 and pulling 5.10 5.11 sport. Ill be out there May 21st til May 29th im looking for good sport climbing out there and am down to climb any day any time im threre! so even if you just have any good tips on where to look for sure let me know!

simply, malibu creek. the closest and most convenient spot. also look into buying sport climbing in the santa monica mountains. heres a link, http://www.amazon.com/Climbing-Monicas-Southern-California-Guides/dp/0967611660 and if you have the time, and a car, head to j tree.

I am gunna get that book, and plan on heading to j tree, but only for one day (cause im not bringing a pad with me + i hear the sport climbing there is'nt anything to make a destination out of) thanks for the help!

Echo Cliffs is close for you, and Riverside Quarry isn't too far. I prefer the quarry over Echo, but you may wanna check both of em out. They're both cool.
