is it common for indoor gyms to have little(if any at all)first aid supplies?my husband severely sprained his ankle at our nearby gym last week and when i asked for an ace bandage or anything of the like, nothing!the guy had two bandaids and some asprin.seems odd that there wouldn't be anything available even for purchase.
oh,and before you blast me for not having supplies for myself,i loaned the only wrap i had to our buddy earlier in the day...
just a question.

We have a first aid kit, not too extensive, but enough for a sprained ankle. It's pretty much up to the gym, if its anything more, usually a call to the ambulance is what happens.

I'll bite, even though this is an older thread...

I would consider that level of first aid absolutely un-acceptable. The gym I frequent, (maybe I work there...) has a well equipped first aid kit, and employees that are trained on using it.

However

As a gym employee, If you don't get up on your own, I'm calling an ambulance.
