Okay, so I just got back from my honeymoon in Aruba and I was blown away by the climbing potential there. I saw absolutely nobody climbing there, but there were endless bouldering opportunities, some awesome over-the-water highball areas, and even a few super overhung, bolted routes at an area called grapefield. Has anyone on this site climbed in Aruba? If so, please do tell your stories. I was overwhelmed by how many routes there are that have probably never been climbed. I posted a few small photos on my website if anyone's interested in checking them out. Didn't have anyone to take the photos while I climbed though, so they're only of the area itself. http://www.climbonrock.com under "weekend getaways" I want to go back there and organize a trip of ten or so. Let me know what you all think, I'd be happy to set it all up. Eric [ This Message was edited by: roughster on 2002-09-15 13:57 ]
