Hmm, The 24th. I'll try to make it. I'll be coming back from NY for work that day so it may be sketchy.

You know, now that you mention it, I've never actually witnessed Jeremy at work. I know he leaves everyday for 8 hours, but what does he reaaalllly do?

Kim, you gonna be around next week? Thursday evening, Southern Sun. I'll even be gracious enough to let you buy me a beer. (I know, I know.... I'm too generous!) You got the same phone number? I'll give you and Jeremy a call when we (Cindy and I) get done climbing Eldo.

Sheeee-it! Looks like Indian Creek on the 26th is a no go for me and William. We're having airline troubles and would get only one day of climbing. I'm totally bummed....

Hi all, I was perusing the more recent pages on this thread when I saw Indian Creek mentioned. That is one of my favorite places to climb and I haven't managed to make it out there yet this season. If you wouldn't mind, I'd love to tag along with anyone who might be going soon. I have a rack, well not an Indian Creek rack, but enough to improve the odds when combined with another's. I'm happy to lead or follow and I don't eat much. I've climbed once in the gym with Cindy and she can certainly verify that at least the following part is true. Terry

Anyone up for some saturday climbing? Unless I get a trad buddy, I think I'd like to head up to Animal World for the day. I haven't been there in a while.

Well if anyone *is* going to be in the Creek anytime between next weekend and the weekend after that, drop me a PM (before then - I won't be online in Moab). It'd be nice to share beers with some of y'all. GO

I'm in Boulder for one more day (all day Monday) and am dying to get some climbing in. Since I'm on vacation all I have is my shoes, harness, and belay device. I can lead solid 5.9 sport climbing, follow 5.10s, and can follow trad 5.9. I have no experience leading traditionally yet, but would love to practice following. I would love to do anyyy kind of climbing, bouldering would be fine too. I just really want to get outside and since I don't know the area, it would be awesome if someone who did would be interested :)

Just a quick reminder to all my friends in the Front Range, I'll be in town for a job interview this coming week. If any of y'all are free, I'd be honored to have you join up at Southern Sun in Boulder this Thursday evening, somewhere around 7pm-ish.

Micah, I'm in it to win it! Though I think I'm going to do something crazy and leave stoopid early on Friday morning. We should talk about what crag in case I don't get there before you head out of camp.

Have an interview in Greeley on the 23rd, figured I'd make an extra day for cragging with some folks. And, of course, if folks want to get together the 24th at Southern Sun or Dark Horse or other location, I'd love to see folks again. Yo, Jeff, I don't know how I missed this post, but I did. Whoa, there folks -- reno (aka desert-dude-hoser-boy) rolling into paradise land? I guess I gotta sign on more than once a season to keep up with the news. I might be able to fit the 24th in for an evening get together -- depends upon time & location. Unfortunately my climbing "at that place" may not be in the cards for this trip. Work is definitely an issue, but I'm also recovering from a major crash into the trees at Winter Park. Let me just say that training at Super G speeds in poor visibility has its challenges. A coach once said any race you walk away from under your own power is a successful race. Ditto for impact testing of body vs. pine trees.

No worries on putting up routes at HWSNBN. I don't have the time this trip. Just come on down (up) to Southern Sun in Boulder, Thursday evening, and have a beer with everyone. And next time you see a pine tree while on GS skis, I suggest you turn. Left or right, doesn't really matter, just pick one. Heck, even us Desert Rats know THAT.

Desert-rat-home-boy, Southern Sun it is. Just look for someone vaguely familiar moving a little slower than normal. Actually, the crash test dummy incident still sends shivers -- with a slightly different sliding trajectory into the woods, it could have been all over. Oh, and HWSNBN now has a few routes on the west side of the ridge.
