Since most of the time we were never climbing more than a ten minute walk from any given restaurant we would just stop for lunch and walk to the closest one to eat. Probably the most remote routes are maybe a half an hour walk from a restaurant. Not counting the DWS routes or the ones on an island of course.

I'd also like to find as many as we can in the 5.9-10b/c range for my wife. I'm sure she'll be happy to belay me on a few harder ones for sure.

I've heard it's much more crowded and touristy than Rai leh so that pretty much killed any interest I had in going there... Right-o, well we'll see and play it by ear when we get there. We'll be in Railei for 11 nights. When you get there go to Wee's climbing shop or any of the others and also talk to the other climbers. Wee recommends a list of routes in his guidebook and those are all a really good start. Sounds like a great start. We can also book a day or half day with him DWS. Where in relation to the RBC is Wee's climbing shop?

Kachoong Wee's shop is on Tonsai Road to get there from RBC you'll have to go over the Hilly jungle. Facing the ocean go to the right side of the beach away from the other resorts on Railey. Look for a Fallen Log against the cliff, it can be hard to spot as it's old and fades into the hillside. don't be fooled by the logs closer to the sealine. The trail starts out steep and then levels out before dropping down into a cleft between some rocks and the cliffside. Along the way you'll pass the tyrolean wall some good routes here. The trail deposits you near dums kitchen. head up the beach and pass Tonsai resort a road here leaves the beach and starts going up hill this road forms a U with either end at both ends of the beach. Wees shop is at a T section in the road.

Your existence on this planet is enough to piss me off, you don't need to bother voting to do that. Talking to doc right? I'd guess so. I suppose actually crediting her source would be too hard. You know who you are. Or do I need to point that out?

In reply to: chossmonkey wrote: T3h Chossy List wrote: Chossy Traitor I deleted the redundant ones (hint....) Okay, I deleted the ones you pulled out of your ass. You seem quite violent tonight... Actually I was just taking your hint and deleted the other ones that have no merit. I meant from my list, toolbag. I deleted the first couple as a peace offering, which you threw in my face. This is war. haha Toolbag. Add that to the list wander

So I feel pretty damn good about myself. Nice work! Did you actually have to use offwidth technique to get up it? I suck at that... Yup. No laybacking allowed. I'm finding new scrapes all over my arms and legs this morning. You really should tell Brunhilda to cut her nails
