Does anyone know what happened? This is the teaser from the TV station that covered the accident; April 23rd "Rescue crews pulled a climber to safety Wednesday night after he fell more than 100 feet down a cliff in Bucks County. Chopper 10 was live over the scene at Ralph Stover State Park in Tinicum Township. The incident occurred at about 5:30 p.m. near Tory Road, and rescues performed a high-angle rescue to get the man out, strapping him to a stretcher and using a line and manpower to lift him to safety. The man was placed into an ambulance after 6:30 p.m., and he was then flown to St. Lukes Bethlehem Hospital. Police said he suffered broken bones but his injuries were not considered life-threatening"

I know a guy that was there, they were indeed soloing, "cause it's more fun" is what I was told. I want to have nothing to do with them when I go climbing, thats all I have to say haha

Again, I can't help wonder if this really was a "climber"...not just some partier or mountain-biker that got it into his head to try scrambling up the cliff in his bike helmet and cycling cleats. Can anyone provide more specific info than the sketchy news reports?

I've been out there a couple times in the past month or so and I second that, I'm not sure what climber with experience would try to solo a stover route, in my experience they are slick, often dirty, downright scary sometimes(If leading). Don't get me wrong, i like climbing there but with a rope, and usually from the top.
