Had an incredible job opportunity drop into my lap just a moment ago. It's a jump to another business unit in the company, but it may just be my meal ticket out of Maine when I want. Plus it puts me full-circle into what I was doing while I was in the Navy. Talking it over with some not-work friends, family, and of course C tonight. Amped.

Before we go to nuts we should make sure all the important stuff fits in here. Where are the lists Art? I don't care if there is room. I just took arts recliner. He can sit on the floor. All ninjas sit on the floor don't they? Why not sit in your recliner? I like art's better. Besides its a good excuse for tossing him around

Some toolbag resuce squad choose this, the most popular route on the cliff, route to practice belay escapes/ascending to victim scenarios. Double whammy. So we just TR'd some semi-dry lines and belayed my friend's daughter, an adorable 6 year old. She was scrambling around pretty good, it was fun to watch. At one point I was messing with her a little bit by telling her to "use the wet holds because the rock is super clean." She turns and looks at me for a long second, and says (stone-cold serious) "I'm smarter than that, you know." hahaha. Good day, overall. Worked we really need to get 2 more people in here and quit being understaffed...

That's like saying if Tiger Woods was really a good golfer he would only use one golf club. Hmmm, should I use the #4 wood or the putter today? Maybe a #3 iron? I agree. and that is exactly what I told Bruce when I bought another pair of climbing shoes and he asked why I needed more than one. I asked him...can you golf with just one club? Do you fish with just one fishing pole? He didn't say anything after that. Wow! You might be trainable yet? You got new shoes? Not yet. I was referring to the last time I got shoez

I wondered the other day how that guy is these days... the one who broke both ankles! Stupid boulderers! Anyhoo... worked at the Wall a bit, climbed even less, ran a couple of miles, watched Enter the Dragon, got a bit of sun before the clouds rolled in and didn't rain! Prepared more for our Thailand trip. Climbing gear is mostly packed and almost ready to run out the door. 13 sleeps!! I hope you're not taking more than a couple of belay devices, harness, shoes, 15-16 draws and a rope. Oh and chalk, you'll need it...
