My motivation the last day has been shot.... all I can think about is going on vacation and seeing my wife. Getting there will be an interesting 24 hours. I reckon I'm ready! Just imagine the 24 hours after you meet up with your wife!! I'm sure you've answered this question about a billion times, but why are you separate from her in the first place? Mmmmmm..... make that the first 240 hours at least!! Woooooooooo!! Well... it's because I'm here studying in Texas, while she's on the East Coast and her job takes her places.... lots of places. I like my story better.

Its an Aussie marriage ritual. The man goes and lives in the wild for two years and when he comes back if he still has a wife it was meant to be. Since there is no outback in the States Texas is the next best thing. Yes... it's something like that... it's some kind of intercontinental walkabout...

My favorite fish tacos ever were from this little taco stand right next to the liquor store in downtown Santa Barbara. The one sign read, in big bold letters "LIQUOR" The other sign read in little bold letters "tacos" my two favorite things, all rolled into one!

I could probably make it work, but it wouldn't really be fair to him, plus I want to have some time untethered while I still can. That's what I've been working toward. He's already found a new guy to bring in, it looks like, so that is good news. Plus, I was never super psyched writing technical reports. It wasn't a bad first job, but it's not something I want to keep doing. So, time to climb a ton, then time to figure out what to do next... Want to start a business?
