To reduce crowding and better facilitate trail repairs and hardware replacement throughout the crag, Franklin Gorge's Parking Lot Wall, Impact Zone, and Contact Zone will be closed to climbing from 7 a.m. Saturday, May 24th until 7a.m. Monday, May 26th, 2008.
The River's Bend will still be open, but will need to be accessed from the Lambert Hill Road area. Please park well off the road if you use this access and be respectful of local landowners/traffic. Move your car if you are asked to, and police up any trash, even if it doesn't belong to you, before you leave.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us keep Franklin open for climbers during the rest of the year.
