I found a camera in the Humbug spires a couple of weeks ago... Does anyone know these people? I'd love to get this camera and it's pictures back to the rightful owner... Looks like they had a great weekend...

Ha! Looks that way, but maybe he's just prepping fancy ingredients to complement their dinner of 4 Raman noodle packets? Also note the 40oz. Old-E stright to the head, dog. Gotta keep that shit as real as the street. Straight up represent.

We want to see more of the incriminating ones. In fact upload the whole camera. It appears we know why they left behind the camera. Did you score any booty gear too??? ;Don

Hopefully, you burned up that mattress. No need for shite like that in an area frequented by many different user groups--it IS a wilderness study area, BTW. Where is it, exactly, that you left it ? It will be easy to get rid of, and we can correct the actions of the morons who left it in there.

OK since you have a sense of humor and enjoyed the above, let me add: Ramen Noodles dinner, $1. Beany cap to keep warm in the evening chill, $5. Enough Scooby Snacks for the whole gang, $40. Having your friends "enjoy" the Scooby snacks to the point were taking pictures seems like a good idea, before loosing your camera so that the pics can be uploaded to the internet for all us RC's to enjoy, Priceless. ;D

What? Wilderness study? Shit, we make a point of draggin' nasty old mattresses to every crag we visit. We must have a couple hundred stashed in the paradise and bitterroot valleys alone. Next season we are gonna bring frames for dem mattresses in. Christ almighty hutchinson...you really think a couple of trad minded stoners are gonna haul that shit up there. Likely it was a bunch of rednecks from down your way... And that is an awesome idea.....burn it! Cuz a fire is less likely to cause damage than a rotting mattress. You wanna correct the actions of some morons...lets start stripping hangers and patching holes....yo

Justin, Wow, you took that poorly. I've fvcked-up enough places with bolts and hangers (which EVERYBODY seems to still clip)--just trying to do my part to keep nice areas still nice (read: wilderness/study areas). What do YOU do for Montana climbing ? Slagging on life-long locals is a growing trend among transplants--yet, here we are, battling for the advancement of our passion with ACTIONS and $$. edit: Sorry for my being concerned about OUR climbing environment. I guess I'll just shut-up and go climb OTHER people's routes. (sarc.)

I do exactly the same thing you do...put up kick ass routes and problems, at my own expense, so that others can enjoy them as much as I do. The difference is that I am keenly aware of what y'all been workin' on and have made more than one trip, wih vague directions to sample it myself. What I don't do anymore is preach or get bent when someone jacks up my area. It just isn't preventable and mostly comes from other user groups, like hunters and boozers. So I leave room in my pack/ pad and constantly drag that junk out of there. And as much as I would like to burn it....what is a little leg work? btw, I was transplanted 3 decades ago...I think I have earned local status...and yes, I too clip your bolts..
