So my SO is interested in learning how to aid climb. Problem: She's in grad school, and is only giving up one day a week to go climb. I want to climb a few pitches with her before jumping on the Leaning Tower or Washington Column in a day. Does anyone have any Grade IV or below, up to C2/A2, climbs that I could throw her at? Do any of the routes on El Cap feature good pitches 1-4 that we could climb and then rap? Cheers Chris

Fun stuff I've done first 3 pitches of Dihedal Wall A-2 Favorite 3 or 4 pitches to Gray ledges from top of Fixed lines to heart ledges. Sometimes is fixed another pitch or two above heart ledges. A-2 (c-3+) You end up halfway up el-cap get some good exposure. Last pitch to gray ledges involves a squeezy slot suggest ditching most of rack and etriers once in the slot. and french freeing from there. rock shoes handy here.
