It's never a good idea to put webbing through bolts unless they're beafy rap bolts or rings. The bending radius is too high and the slings can break. Biners can handle sitting on top of the chains.

The knots in the slings aren't needed. You can use a single long sling with a master point knot or a sliding x with stopper knots.

You can reduce the amount of bend by using an American Triangle.

And the second, third and fourth set of slings tied through the bolts (in American Triangle configuration) are padded by all the old, sun-faded garbage.Laugh
