was climbing up in allamuchy this past saturday in new jersey and the guy next to me fell about 35 -40 feet straight down...all anchors ripped outta the rock. then he was helichopped out. just wondering how ur doing man if ur out there..... and i doubt ill be seeing u sonn on the rocks being the breaks u had but when ur all healed up ill be out there man there to welcome u back........

Any more details? What route was this guy on? Was he toproping or leading. Any newspaper reports? Mr. D

if u have been to allamuchy its the main wall... he was leading a 5.7 i think it was his first time leading casue he was asking his belayer alot of questions....no newspaper results, nothing been checking for day..... id kinda like to know if the guys alrght

Was it the 5.7 next to the tree on the right of the main wall? I put up most of the beta on this site for Allamuchy, been climbing there for years. If it's that climb, bad choice of a first lead, thin cracks for pro dude! Hope he's ok!

nah its to the left of the tree but still kinda on the main wall.....most people use the tree to help start the route

That's a 5.7 with pretty thin pro, never lead it but I don't think I'd want to either. Hope he makes a fast and full recovery.
