Its the correct photo. It make it harder to see you because you are sorta bent over and blend in with the choss.

At the very least that should keep everyone busy until the ice starts forming.

I shouldn't be allowed to read this thread. I hardly get out to climb rock, let alone alpine! Oh, how I miss snow. I wonder if my crampons still fit?

sungam wrote: altelis wrote: where is that? i miss scotland!!!!!! Northern corries of the gorms- that's goat track gully in Corrie an t'sneachda. The route I'm wanting to do is just to the left of it. I'm email-chatting with my climbing partner now, trying to convince him it's worth the early start and the drive! And the weather! Lazy bugger! I feel your pain. My partner is just the same right now. I even am 'borrowing' his cams. I told him he's not getting them back until he straight up demands them back. Asking won't due.

Latest report is that it melted as fast as it formed. I guess I'll have to wait for winter proper like everyone else

Reports that in the Bow Valley the route Twisted Sister 'may' be climbable this weekend have been posted on one of the local boards! Numerous other lines that would go mixed are being roported too! Might be ice hunting season in the Canadian Rockies... at least untill later in the weeek when it warms up.
